COMMON QUESTIONS

Furniture Assembly questions.

How much does furniture assembly cost in Nassau County?

Furniture assembly is billed at $75 per hour with a one-hour minimum, after a free estimate. A simple piece takes less than an hour, while a large wardrobe or a full bedroom set takes longer. You get a clear estimate before any work starts.

Do you assemble IKEA furniture?

Yes. IKEA and other flat-pack furniture is one of the most common jobs, from small shelves to large wardrobes.

Can you assemble several pieces in one visit?

Yes, and it is often the best value. Since the minimum is one hour, grouping pieces into one visit makes good use of the time.

Can you anchor tall furniture to the wall?

Yes. I can secure tall dressers, bookcases and wardrobes to the wall so they do not tip over. I use the right anchors for the wall type.

Do I need to be home?

Usually yes, at least at the start, so I know where each piece goes. We can talk through other arrangements when you book.

Do you take away the boxes?

I flatten and stack the packaging and leave it tidy. Hauling it away is not included.

Do you come to my home or office?

Yes. Everything I do is on-site. See my in-home & on-site service page for how visits work across Nassau County and Long Island, seven days a week.
